Reg Deck, Business Owner, Certified Home Inspector
Reg is a Certified Home Inspector helping home buyers make informed decisions on their home purchases since 2009. He successfully completed the AmeriSpec Inspection Training Academy as well as the Carson Dunlop Home Inspection Training program through Durham College. Reg is also Certified as a Commercial Building Inspector, having successfully completed the CDW (Carson Dunlop Weldon) Commercial Building Inspection course.
He is currently an Associate Member of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) and Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspections (CAHPI). Reg is also certified by WETT, Inc. as a SITE Basic inspector and is recognized by Natural Resources Canada as a Energy Advisor.
Reg has a background in manufacturing, customer service and construction. He is a life-long resident of Peterborough and enjoys using his new smoker, playing hockey and spending time with his wife and two children in his spare time.
Les Carr, Certified Home Inspector, Registered Energy Advisor
With over 15 years of construction and kitchen design experience, Les Carr is a welcomed addition to the AmeriSpec team. His work in home renovation and general maintenance has provided him with skills and knowledge in a variety of building styles. Since completing the AmeriSpec Academy Certification Program, Les has been serving the Kingston real estate community. Les is also a Registered Energy Advisor as recognized by Natural Resources Canada, and a Certified Commercial Building Inspector, having successfully completed the CDW (Carson Dunlop Weldon) Commercial Building Inspection course.
Les is heavily involved in the Salvation Army Church and Kingston community. He has participated in local events as a musician/music technician and coached minor league hockey. Les has called Kingston home for 23 years and is a proud serving member of the Kingston community.
Suzanne (Sam) Carlstrom, Certified Home Inspector, Registered Energy Advisor
Sam is a Certified Home Inspector. She has completed the AmeriSpec Academy Home Inspections training and the Carson Dunlop Certification for Home Inspection through St. Lawrence College with high honours. Sam has also achieved certification as a Commercial Building Inspector, having successfully completed the CDW (Carson Dunlop Weldon) Commercial Building Inspection course.
Sam has over 20 years experience as a Renovations Carpenter; dismantling and rebuilding homes for her clients. Sam has been a Registered Energy Advisor as recognized by Natural Resources Canada since 2008. We are very excited to introduce her as our newest team member.
Sam lives with her family in the Kingston area and has been a proud member of the community since completing her Honours Psychology degree at Queens’ University in 1992. She loves the outdoors and spending time with her family.
